Pricing

All prices are in NZD

International customers do not pay NZ GST/sales tax (less 15%) but may pay import tax on arrival in their country.

Contact us for pricing on options not shown.

Lead time

Most kit-set parts we sell are made to order here in NZ.

Steering kits, intakes etc typically take less than 2 weeks to be made & shipped. This depends on stock levels at WattsCraft & our suppliers.

Aluminium kit-sets typically take around 3 – 6 weeks to cut & fold. We do not carry stock to keep prices as low as possible.

A bare hull will typically add 3 weeks to lead time.

For turn-key or partially completed boats we recommend our partner companies.

Kit-set instructions & compatibility

We provide personal email & phone support for the construction of the hull if required. See instructions, videos and photos.

Please get in touch if you have questions regarding the compatibility of your preferred engine & pump with the kit-set parts.

We do not provide full instructions to fully finish & fit out you boat. Some problem solving is always required when fitting your chosen engine & pump. We are happy to give advice if it is a combination we have experience with.

Kit-set build complexity & difficultly

We rate our kit-set items on complexity to build/install. The rating scale is relative to aluminium fabrication in general.

The CNC cut & folded kits make building a boat much easier. However, basic experience in metal fabrication and mechanical aptitude is certainly required for all kit-set items and our hull construction instructions assume a certain level of knowledge.

Aluminium welding skills and suitable welder(s) are required. Hulls are primarily MIG welded ideally but TIG welding is preferable for some parts e.g. attaching handrails

Its is the customers responsibility to ensure they have the required skills to build a functional safe boat. We are very happy to discuss what is involved & your equipment before you commit to purchasing a kit.

Shipping or pick-up

WattsCraft aluminium kit-sets are CNC cut & bent in Mosgiel (NZ). Kit-set products are sent via courier or freight.

Pick-up can be arranged for hull kits. Folded kit-set hulls can be picked-up on a medium/large trailer or flat deck truck. Typical Utes decks are a bit short unless you have long solid builders roof racks. Bring a lot of packing material and at least two good 2500kg tie-downs to ensure the load is secure. Pick-up is required within one week of kit completion.

Canada

We have a kit-set manufacturing in Vancouver (CAN) to avoid shipping the large hull-kits from NZ. Please contact us at WattsCraft to order a kit-set in Canada. We will help you with your order then put you in touch with CJM technologies to pay directly in $CAD and arrange freight or collection. This keeps prices as low as possible.

We airmail smaller components (intakes, steering, throttles, etc) direct to you in Canada from NZ. Selling direct allows for lower prices even with the freight cost.

USA

We have a exclusive dealer in the USA they offer hull kits, components and full service including turn key boats (RSRacecraft).

Contact RSR directly to order your WattsCraft hull-kit if you are in the USA.

Australia

Prices to Australia are the same as prices shown for NZ + sea freight.

Kit-sets are sent from New Zealand cut, rolled, and folded in a export crate. Cost for crating, sea freight and insurance is around $2500-3000NZD to your door for the main centres.

For a exact quote contact us and we can confirm pricing for your location and advise the best parts for your project.
